Lynnderella When the Moon was a Star

I have a ton of other things to post but I thought it would be nice to show the mani I wore for last night's blue moon.

When the Moon was a Star. One coat over China Glaze Blue Year's Eve. Shades of blue with gold accents as well as stars and moons. The holographic microglitter made it look extra twinkly. Seriously, move over SSN. This is the real starry night.

Do you see that little baby star hiding in the corner there?! SO cute! I didn't even know those guys were in there. It was such an awesome surprise when applying.

Lynnderella is available here.

Too many awesome polishes to wear at the moment. So, crap, I've not even got to put this on yet.  This is freaking stunning and I love your matchy undies. Perfect!

  3. I have this one on the way to me along with Common Sense and Salad Days. I plan on putting it over Orly Stone Cold for a similar effect. Much prefer it this way than over black. Do you have Salad Days? Would love to see your swatch of it before I wear it! Always love your combos.

  5. I'm not much of a Lynn fan these days but this is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have not yet found a polish with both moons and stars that is quite this pretty.

  7. Maybe keep an eye out for the smaller pick-your-own sets on ebay? They're not selling out as fast nowadays!

  11. Do you know anyone in the US that can pass the package on to you? That's what happened with me.

  13. Beautiful! Mine just arrived in the post the other day (I don't even want to think about how much I paid because lynnderella doesn't post to australia!) but no matter how many coats of seche vite I put on it always stays bumpy and ripply. How do you get yours so smooth?

  14. Hi Rosemarie! SO happy to hear of more Aussies getting their hands on Lynns :) As for glitter smoothing... I have a little info on my FAQ page but basically, use a thick clear coat underneath SV. Quick-dry topcoats alone IME, don't do much for smoothing glitter. Good luck!

  15. Thanks for the tip! I tried a thick coat of a super old (like 6 years old!) OPI top coat today over Golden Rules, it worked a treat :)
