Before I get started, I just want to mention that I'm trying harder at Social Media. You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram (both @steffalaa)!
I found this adorable knit cardigan while shopping the other day...
Isn't it cute? I loved the gradient so much that I wanted to do it on my nails as well.
The gradient is done on a base of Revlon Powderpuff which seems to be my go-to undies for so many things. The yellow is American Apparel Butter, the salmon Orly Pixy Stix and the pink Cult Nails Devious Nature.
I felt quite giddy having my nails match my clothes today. Usually, I don't give a second thought to being matchy-matchy unless it's for a formal occasion or special event.

Pink, purple and blue gradient
I wore this last week while I was feeling a little blah. Picked me right up!
I used Ulta3 Hot Spring, Bloom Lavender Bay and Essie Mesmerize on top of a coat of Revlon Powder Puff. I think I should have picked a darker pink. It doesn't fit into the gradient as well as I wanted. But that's ok, because I still loved it! A great pictorial of how to do gradients can be found here.

American Apparel Poppy plus konad
So even though it is almost Winter here, my desire to wear brights is still going strong. I think it also has something to do with the fact that my nails are slightly longer than usual... I wore a vampy around a week ago and it just didn't feel right!
Two coats of Poppy konaded with fauxnad plate M02. Poppy is such a great colour - bordering on red and orange. I think on my skin it leans more red but I've seen it look very orange on others. Perfect formula also. You can easily get away with one coat if you're careful.

Lynnderella Snow Angel Gradient
This was a pre-Easter mani that I did last week. I only snapped this one picture of it so this is going to be quite a short post.
Alternating bases of China Glaze Light as Air and Something Sweet. Then I added a gradient with Snow Angel.
Can you see the shrinkage I got especially on my ring finger? It's because the tips of my nails were SO thick. Think: base, two coats of colour, three layers of Snow Angel, clear, Glitter Tamer and Poshe.
I think it also chipped in less than a day. No bueno. But it was cute while it lasted. Haha!

Late Green Spam
So errr... St Patrick's Day was yesterday but here is my green post. Sorry it's late! Enjoy :)
A-England Dragon. A dark yellow-toned green scattered holo with gold shimmer! *licks*
Essence Back to Paradise. Deep blue-toned green jelly. Not so keen on the formula but the colour is amazing.
One coat of Big Universo Espectral over Nfu-Oh 56 over China Glaze Gussied Up Green.
MAC Dry Martini. Gross colour? Yes. Do I still love it? Also yes.
Ozotic 503 over black. The colour shift is subtle compared to the other Ozotics but it's still very pretty.
OPI Simply Smash-ing! Gives me the worst lobster hands in the world but I still love it.
Unnamed Sasatinnie. Very dark smoky green jelly with some hidden shimmer. Reminds me of Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow.
Jelly sandwich with New York Summer Amaranth and Love my Nails Pink Surprise. Diamond glitter!
OPI Jade is the New Black. A perfect dusty green. One of my most worn green cremes.
China Glaze L8R G8R. Pale green holo. I haven't pulled this baby out in years! Glad I did!
Misa Let's Go Green. Bright, bright lime with gold shimmer. Gold shimmerrrrrr...
And lastly, Rimmel Mania. My love. I know this isn't technically green but that's besides the point :) My bud Kristy snapped this up for me on eBay. (((((hugs!)))))) Isn't she wonderful?! Mania is a close cousin of Bloom Bianca. But better. So much better!
Hope everyone's St Paddy's Day was awesome, green and full of good luck!

Pink Brocade Konad
One of my favourite manis I've ever done. I very much loved it!
I started with this...
American Apparel Coney Island stamped with plate M71 and OPI Mrs O'Leary's BBQ.
Then matted down....
Ahhh.. YES! The texture and the print totally reminded me of some kind of fancy pancy velvet brocade wallpaper.
I received so many compliments when I wore this. A tonne. A stranger actually stopped me on the street to ask me what it was. Apparently, I was on my phone, so she shadowed me until I hung up so she could ask me. Hahahaaaa! We had a good laugh.

Just Another Christmas Mani
Only one more sleep till Santa arrives!
OPI No Room for the Blues with Bloom Abbie sponged lightly on the tips. Then stamped with various designs whose plate numbers I can't remember.
It's really hot down here today. I wish we could have Christmas in winter... alas, that's not the case so I'll just stick with a wintery mani :)

Some Christmas Konads
I can't believe there's only a week till Christmas is here. Time goes by so quickly... so here's my first holiday post of the season!
This is white Special polish with konad plate M79 on black. I then dotted some red and green at the intersections. This was a really subtle Christmas mani... you can't really tell it has a festive theme until you get up close.
OPI Got the Blues for Red. Two coats. Stars from plate M37 with China Glaze 2030. Another subtle festive mani and super simple. I really enjoyed wearing this though. I haven't put on a plain red creme in ages and the stars I thought were a nice touch.
Two coats of China Glaze Emerald Sparkle with white candy cane stripes from plate BM20. I think I needed an extra coat of ES since I see bald spots in a few places but I wanted it to dry quicker so I could konad on it. Yay Candy Canes! Minty, sugary goodness!

Green Spam
One bite sized helping of Green coming right up!
Nabi Metalic Green. Besides the obvious spelling error, this is gorgeous. Sent to me by a wonderful friend who just knew I'd love it!
Color Club Twiggy. An almost-neon light green creme. It's a little more "lime" IRL than my picture shows. The formula was smooth and lovely.

China Glaze Emerald Sparkle. I can never get good pictures of this. It's too sparkly!
Color Club Object of Envy over ummm.... I forgot..... maybe Don't Mess With OPI? I don't know. I remember doing this mani to try and talk myself out of getting this Hits polish.
Dare to Wear Enchanted Forest. Have I posted this before? It's one of my all time favourite green cremes! All dark and murky... I love it.
Nailart & Mehr Flaschengrun. I saw this on More Nail Polish a while back. It's an in-house brand from an Austrian company called Nailart & Mehr. I do so love magnetic polish. I think this diagonal stripe design is my favourite.
Savvy Garland. I now have two bottles of this thanks to my friends! A wonderful blackened green shimmer. These Savvy bottles are amazing and heavy. Love the thick glass on the bottom.
