Lynnderella Spam

An aggregation of some past NOTDs. Sorry about the fluctuating nail lengths... I've been lazy about filing.

Attitude Adjust-Mint. One coat over Jordana Mint Candy (dupe for Chanel Jade...remember that frenzy?). Last time I wore this, my base was too stark of a mint. I like this much better. Soft and pretty.

Funny Money. One and a half coats over Essie Going Incognito. I wanted a bit more of the multi-glitter in this mani so I dabbed on a few glitters from The Glittering Crowd before going over it again with Funny Money to harmonise everything.

Cauldron Drippings. One coat over Cult Nails Devious Nature. I'm in love with Cauldron Drippings. I've worn it over pink, orange and black. Next time I think it's going to be purple!

Connect the Dots. One coat over Kit Top Gear. Is Top Gear still available? If it is... Aussies, get thee to a Kit store and grab it. It's awesome. This is the new formulation of Connect the Dots. Click here for a bottle shot comparison. But just quickly, the new formula is denser, has a heavier shimmer and more glitter variation. I love both deeply.

I Can Afford It! One coat over Bloom Bahamas. My current NOTD. The sprinkling of orange and purple is so cute. And another PSA for Aussies... make sure you go pick up any B by Blooms you've been eyeing since they're being discontinued from Target. So sad.... I prefer them over the regular Blooms. Good news is that they're only $7 now. Bahamas is an awesome fluoro green. Not as neon as others but it has a perfect, smooth two coat formula.

Pahlish End of Days

This is a super special Pahlish I received a while back. Shannon and I did a little swap and she made this puppy for me.

Three coats. End of Days is composed of an array of blue hexes with a splash of orange all in a bright orange glass-fleck jelly. Isn't it lovely? I absolutely adore contrasting colours.

And here is a macro. Click to zoom and see the pretty glass-fleck shimmer bits!

ETA: Looks like Shannon is reformulating this for a release soon!

American Apparel Poppy plus konad

So even though it is almost Winter here, my desire to wear brights is still going strong. I think it also has something to do with the fact that my nails are slightly longer than usual... I wore a vampy around a week ago and it just didn't feel right!

Two coats of Poppy konaded with fauxnad plate M02. Poppy is such a great colour - bordering on red and orange. I think on my skin it leans more red but I've seen it look very orange on others. Perfect formula also. You can easily get away with one coat if you're careful.

A Few More Lynnderellas

Boo!

Hi! I'm in the midst of my exams right now (the end is finally near!) and wanted to do some swatching during a short break from studying.

I'm very sorry I never posted the rest of the Lynnderella Early Halloween and First Edition before I stopped.... but hey, cheer up! Here a a few more :) If I'm able to get my hands on the next ones, I think I'll swatch them instead of taking NOTD pics to speed things along.

Apologies in advance for some sub-par pictures. My photography skills seem to have taken a nose dive.

Gotta Love Brains. Two coats over Zoya Dove. So unusual! Very.... brainy. And I don't think I captured it, but it has this gorgeous bright pink shimmer throughout.

Love Potion No. 99. One coat over Ulta3 Spring Break. Check out this post by Lynn too. Amazing sentiments and an amazing polish.

She Lived in a Swamp. Two coats over Milani Hi-Tech. Chartreuse, lime and greeny-gold goodness. The string glitter in this is a little hard to work with, wanting to curl in all sorts of odd directions. They were fine after a little prodding though.

The Telltale Heart. One coat over Models Own Top Turquoise. I loved this combo. Top Turquoise is much more... well, turquoise IRL. I think it went really well with the vivid magenta glitter.

Snow Angel. One coat over Revlon Powder Puff. Ahhh... Snow Angel. I remember the crazy it caused when I first saw this on my friend Eve. And now I have my very own bottle! *-* Anyhoo, my nails are so stained that I almost cried when I first tried layering over a sheer white. Yuck. Luckily, I found Powder Puff which is opaque enough to hide my stainage with one coat while still being a little sheer. I think the slight blue shimmer in it helped cancel out yellow as well.

Cauldron Drippings. One coat over black. I saw Lauren layer this over black and I needed to copycat her. I kept this one on after swatching everything. So fabulous!

As always, please check Lynn's blog for more information. She has a new collection coming out very, very soon which I am super excited for! They're sure to sell out in a flash so be on your toes.

Also, remember that the lovely Lynn only ships within the US so if you're "international" like me, make sure you have a plan of attack! I have signed up to a group order a kind buddy of mine is doing so she can forward the polishes on to me. Yay! I can't wait!

Somebody hold me while I pass out for the millionth time. Lynnderella Awesomeness. And I took.... a lot of photos so just sick back and enjoy!

Note: I left all the pictures *huge* so you can click and magnify to see more of the details and beautiful glitter.

The pretties all together...

I've taken one frontal bottle shot, one nail wheel swatch and one close-up bottle shot for each polish. The caption will tell you what I used on the nail wheel swatch. I hope that's not too confusing!

 And now... prepare for spam!

Dear lord these are quite something aren't they?! Interested? You can head on over to Lynnderella's blog shop for more details and hopefully a chance to catch her next sale. They sell out super quick! NB: Not all the shades I have shown are currently for sale.

I will have actual nail pics up soon... no promises though because my nails are rubbish right now and these deserve nothing but the best. I am also really scared I won't be able to do these polishes justice. They are complex like nothing I have ever seen.

I am thrilled to be in possession of these. They are truly one of a kind beauties, just like the wonderful lady who creates them! Much thanks to Lynn and the amazing E who passed these on to me. Love to you both!
