Lynnderella Kabbalah Bracelet

You know what we all need? A nice warm bowl of Kabbalah! .... If anyone got that reference, a million brownie points and a great big squee to you!

Lynnderella Kabbalah Bracelet. Over China Glaze Branding Iron. This is one thin coat. And when I say thin, I mean there was almost nothing on the brush--Kabbalah Bracelet is very dense. Short red strings, multi-coloured holo hexes and microglitter. Really fabulous. I love it.

And here is Branding Iron. Dark, glowy red-brown shimmer. I wish I had sun to show off the amazingness of the shimmer.

Lynnderella is available via eBay here.

Lynnderella Common Sense

I spent a long time pondering what I wanted to wear under Common Sense (oh I do love word play). Pink, copper, peach... so many possibilities. In the end I settled on a soft pink.

One thin coat of Common Sense over Ozotic 601 which is a pale pink scattered holo. Common Sense is a clear base filled with copper and pinks. Crazy pretty and quite flashy for such a colour. It's absolutely packed with glitter and I think I may try wearing it on its own next time.

Over the Ozotic, it takes on a rose gold hue when seen from a distance. Kind of makes me want to wear matching jewellery with it! Anyone want to send that rose gold Michael Kors watch my way? lol

Rainbow Honey The Worst Possible Thing

"Of all the worst things that could happen! This is..." well, clearly not it. It's quite lovely actually.

One coat over China Glaze Grape Pop. The Worst Possible Thing is my favourite of the collection. It's very busy, but in a subtly sparkly way.

Then I saw Lauren layer this over black and it looked so amazing I had to copy her.

One coat. You can really see the iridescent shards when it's over black. The whole look is kind of galaxy-like, no? Rainbow Honey can be found here.

Lynnderella Spam

An aggregation of some past NOTDs. Sorry about the fluctuating nail lengths... I've been lazy about filing.

Attitude Adjust-Mint. One coat over Jordana Mint Candy (dupe for Chanel Jade...remember that frenzy?). Last time I wore this, my base was too stark of a mint. I like this much better. Soft and pretty.

Funny Money. One and a half coats over Essie Going Incognito. I wanted a bit more of the multi-glitter in this mani so I dabbed on a few glitters from The Glittering Crowd before going over it again with Funny Money to harmonise everything.

Cauldron Drippings. One coat over Cult Nails Devious Nature. I'm in love with Cauldron Drippings. I've worn it over pink, orange and black. Next time I think it's going to be purple!

Connect the Dots. One coat over Kit Top Gear. Is Top Gear still available? If it is... Aussies, get thee to a Kit store and grab it. It's awesome. This is the new formulation of Connect the Dots. Click here for a bottle shot comparison. But just quickly, the new formula is denser, has a heavier shimmer and more glitter variation. I love both deeply.

I Can Afford It! One coat over Bloom Bahamas. My current NOTD. The sprinkling of orange and purple is so cute. And another PSA for Aussies... make sure you go pick up any B by Blooms you've been eyeing since they're being discontinued from Target. So sad.... I prefer them over the regular Blooms. Good news is that they're only $7 now. Bahamas is an awesome fluoro green. Not as neon as others but it has a perfect, smooth two coat formula.

BB Couture Erotic Night

A recent NOTD. I've yet to meet a vampy I like more than this one.

Three coats. Deep maroon jelly. It also has a hidden shimmer which can only be seen under very bright light. Looks exactly like red wine. I'm not exactly the biggest wine fan ... but I can definitely appreciate it in nail polish form :D

OPI Sparkle-icious

I was a little disappointed with Burlesque when it came out because I was hoping that the glitters would be amazing and super sparkly like Absolutely Alice was. They are pretty in their own right though.

Sparkle-icious. Three coats. Very dense. Gold, blue and fuchsia. The mix is pretty even but on me, it pulls very gold in the sun.

Cult Nails Let Me Fly and Nail-Venturous Magpie Feathers

Firstly, I did some Blog Housekeeping over the last couple of days and you may have noticed a few minor design changes. I made myself a new header and sidebar buttons. I love the way they turned out but holy hell... let's just say html coding is definitely NOT my calling.

Also, after a few requests, I've added the option for e-mail subscription to the blog. If you'd like to receive updates via e-mail go ahead and click the subscribe button in the sidebar --->

Now onto the polish.

Cult Nails Let Me Fly. Two coats. A muted teal with green and pink shimmer that looks white on the nail. The first picture is more colour accurate. It has a bit of a 'stormy sea' kind of feel to it. Very nice formula.

With a coat of Nail-Venturous Magpie Feathers. A mix of silver, blues and brown. I do love blue and brown together. The large brown hexes curl but that doesn't bother me since they're quite sparse. Also my nails have a strong curve to them so if I lay the glitters down concave and poke them a little, they're fine.

Magnetic Freakin' Violet and Sportsgirl Northern Lights

Freakin' Violet is like the missing polish in the Nfu-Oh flakie line up.

Two coats. Violet jelly, electric blue flakies and an amazing green shimmer that I couldn't capture. You can see it clearly in the bottle though. It was much more opaque than I was expecting and completely fine after two coats.

With a layer of Sportsgirl Northern Lights. Another gift from my buddy Kristy. Northern Lights has blue shimmer and glitter particles as well as irregular red shards. Really cool. This puppy never showed up at any of the Sportsgirls near me and I have no idea if it's discontinued or not. Snap it up if you see it though because it is lovely.

L'Oreal Majestic Green and Lynnderella She Lived in a Swamp

Kristy sent me this pretty a little while ago. I still need to haul my butt over to Priceline so I can pick up a few of these new L'Oreals. They look very promising if this is anything to go by.

Majestic Green. Two coats. Majestic indeed! It's a very yellow pea green with heavy gold shimmer - so heavy it's almost metallic in finish. This can pull darker and more olive-y in different lights but most of the time, it is really bright and zingy. Love this so much.

With a coat of Lynnderella She Lived in a Swamp. Ugly-pretty, glittery goodness! I decided to be matchy-matchy the day I wore this and also had my pea green socks on. Yes, all you fashionable ladies out there feel free to throw stones my way LOL. I did get some "nice socks" comments from strangers though :)
