Some Saturday Spam

Happy weekend! I hope you get to enjoy it more than I! .... unless anyone wants to write my paper for me? :)

HARE Archipelago. Tricky to apply but IMO, worth it.

Essence A Lovely Secret. The shimmer... it is amazing.

Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness over Sportsgirl Nude.

Jordana Mint Candy. = Milani Dressmaker = Chanel Jade.

Candeo Joker sandwiched between sheer white.

HARE Supernova Springs over Sally Hansen Purple Pizzazz.

Nails Inc. Baker Street. If you're Aussie, it's very similar to Ulta3 Blue Marlin.

KBShimmer Ring Master over Pretty Serious Nightmaren.

Zoya Crystal.

BYS Glamazon. This thing... holy moly. Possibly the zingiest green I own.

Ozotic 505 over black.

Candeo Mallard over L'oréal High Tide.

Here are some links for purchasing. I get lots of questions asking where to buy things so hopefully these will help. List of links:
HARE, Rainbow Honey, Candeo, Pretty Serious, KBShimmer, BYS, Ozotic.

Lynnderella Connect the Heart

I have a special one for you guys today - another deeply generous gift from Lynn, Connect the Heart.

Connect the Heart is like Connect the Dots but with white, pink and red hearts as well as pink shimmer in a pink-tinted base. I've worn this twice already. The first...

One coat over Australis Bombshell. I'm sorry for the wrinkling. My Glitter Tamer desperately needed thinner and it caused some wrinkles because it was so thick - you couldn't really tell IRL though. Look at that gorgeous shimmer! And those pretty hearts just make my day.

And here's what I've got on now...

Over BYS Rebel Red, a juicy red jelly. I just noticed that the placement of the hearts and the big black hex are almost the same as when I previously wore it LOL. Now I don't get the best wear out of BYS, but I'm hoping to squeeze a few days out of this mani because I love it so so much!

Lynnderella ♥ (Liquid Valentine)

I received this beauty as a gift from Lynn herself with my Lovely is as Lovely Does collection. Many dear thanks to you Lynn!

Ugghh .... it's so pretty I can't stand it! I've actually worn this twice already :)

The first time:-

Two coats of Liquid Valentine over BYS Get Ink Make It Pink. The BYS is an bright pink jelly--it's actually marketed as a neon (which it isn't). Look at that gorgeous blue shimmer in Liquid Valentine... love it. And the mix of pretty glitters... love that too!

And the second time I wore it:-

This is two coats over Kleancolor Wild Rose. This combo was incredible. Wild Rose is probably my new favourite pink. Yup. It's the most amazing fuchsia ever. And Liquid Valentine... *clutches heart* LOVE!

A Few Miscellaneous Things

I'm sorry for the lack of posts the last couple of days but I've been pretty busy trying to study for my upcoming midyear exams. I say "trying to" because it hasn't been a very successful endeavour... chem just isn't my thing.

SOMEBODY KICK ME FOR CHOOSING TO DO CHEMISTRY

Ok.. now that we got that out of the way, here are a few pics I haven't posted yet.

BYS Ruby Slippers. Red foil. A different take on the usual slurry of "ruby red slipper" type polishes. I think this is the only red foil I've ever seen. Very pretty. My brush is so funky though. Take a look.

It kind of looks like it's been caught in the wind...

Etude House PP904. I really love the mini Etude bottles! They are so curvy and they remind me of mini genie bottles. This is a dark taupey/grey/purple with a gold and subtle pink shimmer running through it. It's really unique and I like it a whole lot more than I was expecting to.

Essence Cool and the Gang. Bright, bright royal blue jelly/creme. This is really vibrant. It looks like it's close to Revlon Royal and it's kind of like Orly Royal Navy without the shimmer. Love!!

Ulta3 Allure. This is the colour I layered LA Girl Uninhibited over. It's a really pale pinky-beige neutral creme. One of my favourite nudes. I don't usually like wearing neutrals but this.. I don't know, I just really like it. It's very clean looking. Fresh. The formula is a little tricky though - sheer and streaky. But then again, it's only two dollah!

Rimmel Forest. This has been my mani the last few days. Dude... Best. Green. Shimmer. Ever. For serious. I can't even begin to imagine what the hell those people at Rimmel were on when they decided to discontinue this. Luckily, there's still some up on eBay for very reasonable prices if you missed out (or if you need more backups like me!). I've actually finished a whole bottle of this already if you can believe it. I love it that much. It's a great pedi colour if you like greens on your toes, which I do!

Now, back to exam prep. *cries*
