This was the first of the Summer Solstice collection that I wore a while back. Props to myself for getting this up so quickly...
One coat of I Don't Mean Rhinestones (but diamonds!) over one of DR 115. Super saturated regular and holographic teal hexes and diamonds. The holo glitters give off a lovely glowing property also makes it look more blue in sunlight. IDMR is loaded with glitter and would probably be opaque by itself in 2-3 coats.
Lynnderella is available
here.
Love it! It's so sparkly
ReplyDeleteLovely combo <3

ReplyDeleteThanks! The teal is gorgeous. Really rich
ReplyDeleteTY!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lauren! Yeah, I'm keeping them slightly longer these days. I haven't gotten the urge to hack at them yet! XD
ReplyDelete:) Thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you Elsa :)
ReplyDeleteIt is most sparkly indeed!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous combo! Maybe one of my favorites yet!
ReplyDeleteSeparately from that...do you have a post up for tips & tricks for a newbie (or a site that you recommend)? I'm just getting into all of the fun combinations and have yet to have a smudge-free mani no matter how long I wait. I remember you saying in an earlier post that you had done a mani, got dressed, and put on makeup in 15 minutes! I swear, I sit and wait for my nails to dry for at least an hour, and I still have issues =/
Thanks!!!
I don't have any posts of my own--but check out lacquerized.com She has a ton of very informative posts! And as for your situation, have you tried a quick dry top coat? My manicures are dry within 5-15minutes (depending on thickness). Changed my life! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help - I'll definitely check out that site! Yes, I do have a quick dry top coat, but the layers underneath aren't quite dry yet, I guess because they're so thick, so it will usually still get messed up. I guess practice makes perfect, so I'll just keep trying until I get it right! =)
ReplyDeleteHi Stef! Reading you for the first time after I got your guest post in my inbox! Fantastic stuff!
ReplyDeleteOne question - where do you get your DR nail polishes? I did a google for them and all I get is "Doctor Nail Polish" :)
I looooove the teal 115! I wants! :D
