Sparitual Love Your Planet Duo

This year, Sparitual put out a duo pack of two awesome greens for Earth Day. I first saw these on My Lucid Bubble a while back here and here. They've been stuck in my mind since. I'm actually really surprised they didn't cause more of a stir in the community.

I finally got around to buying them even though Earth Day is long gone. I got it at Feel Unique here. They do free worldwide delivery!

Do you see those bottles above?? Are you getting excited? They're both greens with gold accents. Um, LOVE!

Greenhouse. A light green with a golden glass-fleck/foil-y shimmer. Just look at all that crazy gold shimmery stuff going on! Very beautiful indeed but it looks pretty close to Zoya Apple and Color Club Magic Elf.

Earth Matters. The big, big winner of the duo. It's time to get out the tin foil hat because it seems those people at Sparitual are tapping into my brains. I think I've been wanting a colour like this without even knowing it. I wish these were available separately so I could by a meeellion backups of this.

Lots and lots of green glitter in a dark green jelly base with a sprinkling of gold - not a lot, just enough to give it real dimension and major sparkle factor. Here is a close-up for your viewing pleasure. Earth Matters is insanity. Dare I say I love it more than I love Emerald Sparkle... Yes, yes I think I do.

Green and glitter lovers of the world, do yourselves a favour and go buy this set. Please.

Milani Purple Gleam

Remember back when we were all freaking out when Milani released their One Coat Glitters? Well, I'm still freaking out. They are literally, some of the best glitters I've ever come across.

They all have a multitude of different coloured glitters packed in them which equals LOTS of depth. These are insanely beautiful to look at.

From what I can see, Purple Gleam consists of a couple of shades of purple as well as black(!!) glitter. Awesome!

SO SPARKLY!! Check out the macro... click to make it big. I'm telling you it's worth your while! It's crazy, crazy beautiful.

The Face Shop GR502

This polish has been in my untrieds for well over a year now. I know - CRIMINAL! It's soooo pretty!

It looks like a darker, smokier version of Chanel Graphite - it's got that same gold foil-y shimmer going on.

I've been meaning to pick up Graphite but I keep waffling... but if this is any indication of how much I'll love Graphite, I think I need it. Like, now.

Can you see how the colour shifts from a deep grey to an olive to a dirty gold with the different lights? That shimmer is seriously to die for.

What's this? You want?! Well never fear chickens! I've found it on eBay for a pretty good price here (it's #4 in the listing). I'm currently awaiting a bunch of AWESOME Tony Moly's from this seller. I'm so looking forward to them arriving!

A Little Spam And a New Look

What do you think of the new look? :) I've been meaning to update the design for a while and this weekend was the perfect time to do it. I wanted the design to be clean and simple so as to not take away from the actual content.

I love it lots, especially the cute little birdie in the corner! So cute!! Thanks so much to Smitten Blog Designs!

Okay, now onto today's post. I've only got a small offering of swatches since I've been busy trying to wrap my head around html coding. Never again...

Chi Chi Scene Queen. I wish there was a way I could type Chi Chi with those little lips. They make me laugh :) Now for the polish.. just look how pretty that green is! And the subtle silver veining is just beautiful.

OPI Show It And Glow It! So. Many. Colours. Here's a macro. Does someone want to count?

China Glaze Millennium. Silver chrome. Perfect silver chrome. Maybe not as mirror-like and reflective as Maybelline Mirror Image but it applies so much better. This is one coat. Perfect.

The Face Shop BR802. I wished so hard for this to work with my skin tone but just take a look above at how red and blotchy and gross my skin looks with this on. Ugh. BR802 is a peachy nude with lots of silver flaky shimmer. You can see it better up close...

A-England Tristam. I tried to resist. I tried so hard. But who can resist free international shipping. Did you hear me? FREE. *edit* Sadly, it looks like the offer has ended already. So I caved and bought Tristam. Dark navy blue with a really subtle holo sparkle. Nice!

Nfu-Oh 64

Nfu-Oh makes some of the holoiest holos that ever holoed bar Chanel Holographic (aka the Jeebus of all holos). 64 is the pinkish purple one of the bunch.

Also, click HERE for a highly unflattering picture from an ugly angle which shows off the holo even more.

And a nice close up of the rainbow action (click to make it big if you like)...

My nail looks so creepy blown up so huge o.O LOL

Missha JBL01 and Pink Pearl

You all know I love Asian polishes and Missha are right up there... they are amazing.

They look so pretteh in the bottles. So pretteh!

JBL01. Woah. This is so gorgeous and it's so complex. It's a slightly greeny blue base and it's packed with silver microglitter as well as blue and green microflakies. Totally insane. Here's a macro to try and convey the awesome. Please click to enlarge it.

Pink Pearl Top Coat. This is three coats on black. I've shown this one before but man I can't get over how cool this is... rainbow shimmer!! It's very sheer and the shimmer is a little sparse so it's best in multiple coats over a dark colour but the end result is SO worth it. Crazy multi-coloured shimmer!!

Inglot 203

Inglot makes some great flakies. The only problem is that the bottles are tiny and retail for $15. Luckily for me, the Inglot store close to me put some of the flakies on sale for $5 each intermittently some time last year. I stalked the store for a month trying to catch the sales which I've yet seen happen again.

In the end, I managed to get a hold of 203, 204 and 205. Unfortunately, I've never seen the the one flakie left (202) for sale and I don't think I can cough up $15 for a mini bottle. Oh well... maybe some day they'll have a sale again.

Here is 203 over black. To my eyes, it flashes a bright green, turquoise, teal and a bright electric blue. So cool.

Duochrome! LOVE!

The flakes in the Inglots seem to look different to the ones in Hidden Treasure and the Nfu-Ohs don't you think? They seem to be more like shards than flakes - more angular and much more random in size

 I like. A lot.
